Not really a drabble. Isn't that supposed to be 100 words? This is only about half that. It is what it is. S/J

A THOUSAND WORDS

A thousand words could have been spoken in those moments. Yet all he saw in the silence was the picture her eyes made as they stared at one another across the barrier.

And then the moment ended, the barrier breached.

The words unspoken.
