So, I ship it. Really, ship it. Those are my precious babies. =)
Mochizuki couldn't breathe. The heat was all over his body, as he couldn't even tell what was wrong. He fell on his knees, watching as Ikuo would die in front of him. He was tearing up now. If only he could... he could got back on time, to say what he hadn't say in those moments that they had together.
"I l-like you." he could say, in one of those rainy days, before Yukari's death, before the Calamity start, before everything.
Damn, that was one of those moments when he would get overly emotional. One of those days that he would just dream of it. Another day, without knowing that he was going to survive, if he was going to see Ikuo again, maybe on heaven... Now, he couldn't think more. Ikuo was there, lying dead on his arms, with a pain contorted face. He couldn't take the other's face from his nightmares.
But when he would dream, and dream with the other.
Let me get started, the first dream was strangely sweet. It all started in the day when Ikuo would've died, but he didn't. He didn't try to say anything to Kouichi and they just walked home, together, saying goodbye to Kouichi and gone to his house. That day, Ikuo stopped by to lunch with him.
Mochizuki tried to cook without getting too nervous, doing the only thing that he could do without burn completely: Rice. After lunch, he would just say goodbye, see you later to Ikuo, when he touched Mochizuki face, with a soft smile on his face. Mochizuki blushed as he asked:
"What?"
"I just wanted to say…. To say that I actually like you." He muttered.
"D-did you?" his face got redder, as if he was a tomato, and Ikuo's hand was still caressing his face. "I l-like you too…" He hadn't even finished the last word when he felt Ikuo's lips close to his.
In those little seconds, they lips would just brush, before Ikuo would move on and close the lips on a kiss. Shyly, Mochizuki corresponded, enlacing the other's neck with his arms, bringing him closer. He could feel a smile grow in the other's face and finally, he let go.
"C-come in again." Mochizuki said, holding the other hands. "Let's… Just stay here, you know." He was too shy to ask it, but Ikuo got in the moment that they sat on the couch.
Lovingly, he enlaced Mochizuki with his arms, bringing him close to his chest, as the other would smile a little, enchanted. It was a strange, but not unpleasant feeling. It was something that he had never experienced before. It was so good that he could bring himself to care if it was true or false. And Ikuo brought him closer, whispering in his ear.
"You are so flushed and… Cute." The other was shy just like him, but he was saying what he couldn't say in the moment. Mochizuki took a time to think a compliment to give to the other, when he looked at him.
"I like your freckles." He muttered and this time, Ikuo blushed, making Mochizuki's smile get wider. Another kiss came after that, when Mochizuki woke up.
There wasn't that bad, everyone would think. It was the saddest thing ever to him, think it was too late and every night, he would have a dream of how would it be if that hadn't happened. And after the hotel thing, he almost thought he would die. Almost thought he would forget Ikuo. But he hadn't.
He was in his heart, on his mind and if God in the sky would help him, he would never get out of there.
