Remus could think of twelve different reasons why they shouldn't be together. He only needed one to stay.

Of course he knew when she first spoke he should leave and never look back. Of course he knew when his lips first met hers they were doomed to a lifetime of anger and misery. Of course he knew starting a relationship (of any kind) was the worst thing they could ever do. He could come up with thousands upon thousands of different reasons why they shouldn't be together.
Need- he needed her so bad at times he was almost sick.
Dream- he dreamed of her -of them! - so much it was hard to tell reality from fantasy.
Find- everywhere he went his eyes searched desperately to find any sign of her.
Taste- her taste was so unique to any other that he craved it every second they were apart.
Fuck- fucking was all he wanted to do. Soft and slow or rough and fast he didn't care so long as she was beneath him crying out for more.
Use- they used each other for their own selfish needs it was a wonder one of them hadn't snapped yet.
Scar- there were so many scars -physical and emotional- that they've left on one another it's amazing neither one of them is dead.
Break- they could so easily break the other. A simple word, one small action and they would be in pieces.
Lose- this game they played was a deadly one where either one could lose themselves in a minute.
Hate- below all the lust and desire there was nothing but hate in between them.
Smash- the relationship (or whatever it was that they had) was so fragile that one wrong move could smash it into millions of little specks in the ground.
Erase- they both knew once everything was said and done they would have to erase each other from memory in order to stay sane.
Twelve reasons (in no particular order) on why they shouldn't be together. Twelve reasons why their life would be in ruins by the time they die. Twelve reasons to quit why there's still a chance. Twelve reasons to end it all. But only one to make them stay.

The cold wind bit at them. Chewed deeply into their soul until any shred of warmth was gone. She stood on a snowy hill over looking the Great Lake, wearing nothing more than the school's uniform. Her long, dark hair (usually tied back) danced happily around her as crimson eyes bore deeply into his own amber colored orbs.
A smile broke across her face and her eyes glowed eerily in the darkness surrounding them. A side only he -only he! - ever saw appeared as she leaped onto his kneeling form, forcing them to tumble down the hill. Rolling to a stop he gently pulled her to her feet, laughing as snow clung to both forms.
"Remus," she chocked back tears. "Yes! Of course I will!"
Being pulled into a kiss Remus smiled, slipping a ring onto her left hand. Breaking apart for air Remus leaned his forehead against hers. One hand teased her hair while his other arm wrapped possessively around her.
"I love you, Mira." the soft words disappeared into the rushing air.
Mira didn't answer; Remus knew she wouldn't. But the small smile on her lips, the light blush caressing her cheeks, and the warm glow of her eyes was all the reason he needed.

The 12 "Reasons" I got out of a song, but I don't remember whose or what the name of it was. But its their fault this idea popped into my head. And the color of her eyes...no its not her natural eye color. Ne-wayz tell me what you think please!
