The wind ran through his fur, he shook his head, trying to get the roaring of the wind from his ears, only succeeding in getting his rusty brown like fur in his wolfish eyes. He ran through the woods, trying to get her face out of his mind.

What has he done wrong to get this punishment from God? He always asks himself. Why? But that only succeeds in making him angrier, and run faster; faster through the dense green forest.

Why did she leave him, he was her best friend, for nothing but a filthy little bloodsucker? A growl came out of his throat without him realizing it. No, he must get these thoughts out of his head; they were making him think of his old life, the one he left behind.

He stopped slowly as he saw a little figure appear in front of him, almost out of nowhere. "Hello doggy, what are you doing out here all alone? Surely your owners must be missing you." The figure said; her voice sounding strangely like a bird's song. The russet brown wolf narrowed his black eyes, his growl intensifying, her scent was burning his nose.

"Don't worry Doggy, I won't hurt you. I just want to know why you're here. You see, animals don't usually come in these parts if they can help it. This part of the forest is cursed." The blonde haired girl smiled and tried to pet the growling wolf.

The "doggy" snapped at her, and no matter how cowardly it seemed, ran away from her. He wolf snorted in disgust as he picked up speed towards the 'cursed' forest. 'It can't be any worse than things I've been through.' He reassured himself, but, for some odd reason, the giant wolf didn't notice that the trees were getting darker, and all essence of light disappearing slowly with every step he took.

Finally, he stopped when he was shrouded with darkness. He whined, 'where am I?'

"You are trapped in the middle of the forest." A voice boomed.

The wolf growled again, his fur ruffling angrily.

"In order to get out, you must forgive yourself and others for what has befallen you. Or you must wait in till someone is unfortunate enough to get lost here."
The giant wolf lay down, and waited.

In the distance, the blonde haired girl sighed and shook her head. "They never listen to me. Those poor souls."
