Olivia and Elliot were curled up on the couch together. Liv looked at the clock. 11:42. she knew Kathy would call any minute.
I keep sitting here staring at the clock on the wall
And I keep laying here praying, praying she won't call
Elliot's phone rang. Olivia closed her eyes and hung her head. It was her.
"Yeah babe. I'll be home in a little bit" Elliot said "Love you too bye". He hung up.
A single tear slipped down Olivia's cheek.
It's just another call from home.

"Elliot" Olivia met him in the hallway and hugged him. "Can't you just stay here? Tell her you got caught up in a case or some thing."
"I wish I could" El replied. He kissed her and walked out the door.

The next day Liv and El were at the precinct. Olivia was typing up something on her computer.
"Hey Elliot" Finn said coming into the squad room "Your wife's here man"
"Thanks Finn" Elliot got up from his desk and went out to the hallway where sure enough Kathy was waiting with their new baby boy in her arms.
Olivia looked up and saw the happiness in her partner's eyes when he saw his family.
Elliot said he was going to leave Kathy. Now she wasn't so sure.

"Hey" she said "can I talk to you?"
