A lonely flower
Summary- Ino sees that everyone has a boyfriend or girlfriend and is the only one without a boyfriend. Then a stranger comes and surprises her. Sasuino. R&R
It has been a month since Sasuke had returned from the Sound Village. Ino last saw him three years ago. She was the only one who had no boyfriend. Temari and Shikamaru were together, Neji and Tenten, Naruto and Hinata, Sakura and Lee and Ino had no idea who Kiba, Chouji, and Shino were with but they did have girlfriends'.
She was working in the flower shop. Her birthday today wasn't going well. She received "happy birthdays" but her day was going bad. Ino was washing new vases when she heard the shop door open. Then the vase she was washing fell. Aww, come on! Ino yelled. Do you yell for anything that goes wrong? Someone said.
Ino turned around to see Sasuke Uchiha. Sasuke? Ino asked in shock. You're the only person I haven't seen yet since I came back. Sasuke said. You probably don't remember my name. Ino said sadly turning back to the vase. Ino Yamanaka. Sasuke said. Ino's eyes widen. Okay, what do you want? She asked.
Nothing. I just wanted to visit you. Sasuke told Ino. The vase full of water fell on Ino's right hand. Oww! Ino yelled in pain. Sasuke walked over to Ino and grabbed her injured hand. Her hand was now red. Can you bend your fingers? Sasuke asked. Huh? Ino asked confused. Can you bend your fingers? Sasuke repeated. Ino tried but it hurt. It hurts if I try to. Ino said. Sasuke put on the cold water and put her hand under the running water. Try to bend your fingers under the cold water. Sasuke instructed.
When Ino bent her fingers there was less pain. Ino took out her hand from the water and dried it. Thank you, Sasuke. Ino said. Your welcome. He said. Ino walked over to a vase full of roses. Those roses are dead. Sasuke informed Ino. Why do you think I'm taking them out? Ino said smartly. Oh. Sasuke said realizing his mistake. What do the red roses mean? He asked. They mean "love". Ino answered. Sasuke thought of something.
Do you still have a crush on me? He asked. Ino didn't answer. Are you going to buy flowers because I have to work you know. Ino said. I'll get one red rose. Sasuke said grabbing one. Only one? She asked. Yeah, one is good. Sasuke answered. Ino put the rose in a flower wrap to protect it and handed it to Sasuke. He paid for the rose. I hope the girl you're giving this to likes it. Ino said. You'll find out later. Sasuke said. He then left the shop with a confused Ino at the counter.
Later Ino closed the shop and went home. She had dinner and went to take a shower. While she was getting dressed someone knocked on the entrance door. Inochi went to open it. It was Sasuke. Hello Mr. Yamanaka is Ino home? Sasuke asked. Yeah, hold up one minute. Inochi said. He went to get Ino. When Ino got to the front door she couldn't believe who was there. Okay, how do you know where I live? This is freaking me out. Ino said.
I came to give you this. Sasuke said revealing the rose he bought before. Ino couldn't believe it. Is this a joke or something? Ino asked still in shock. No Ino because to tell you the truth, I love you. I have since the academy days. Sasuke confessed. Ino accepted the rose. Then Sasuke kissed Ino. He put his arms around Ino's waist and Ino kissed back and put her arms around Sasuke's neck. Then they broke apart for air.
I love you to. Ino said still with her arms around his neck. They were staring into each other's eyes. Now you're not a lonely flower. Sasuke said sweetly. They kissed again. A couple of seconds' later Sasuke broke apart and said. Happy birthday. Thank you. Ino said. And they kissed for a third time and for a long time. Inochi saw the whole thing and was happy for his daughter.
