He used to dream of long, black hair surrounding him like satin sheets. Her hair had been the most beautiful thing about Lana Lang, and Clark had clung to that dream for years - until he'd finally woken up, accepted the feelings he'd been told all his life, whenever he'd dared to mention them to his parents, that he shouldn't have, and stopped chasing a girl he'd never really wanted. Then, his dreams changed. The hair was gone, and Clark sometimes found himself contemplating shaving his head.
He never did shave his head. Now, he knows he won't, but he has little use for hair and loves a bald head instead. He doesn't need his head to be bald, though, because he gets to hold and caress a smooth scalp every morning and every night and never too often in between. He never allows a chance to grasp his lover by his head, run his hands over his scalp, and kiss him deeply.
Lex has asked him before why he likes to touch his head and what he sees in him for, though he'd never admit it to any one else, he believes his follicle deficiency to be a shortcoming. Others who know of their relationship have also asked Clark why he likes a bald guy. Clark has the same answer for all of them: The baldness isn't the reason why he likes his beloved life partner. Lex is the reason he likes his bald head. His head, his face, his smile, everything about Lex is beautiful to Clark, so yes, maybe he does love a bald head, perhaps it's even become a bit of a fetish for him over the years, but only with one man, only for his Lex.
