Day In The Break Room
It
was a cloudy day in Miami as Eric Delko walked down the hall to Miami
Dade Crime Lab's Break room. He was looking for her. Only her. As he
walking into the room he saw long blonde hair, black slacks, a white
low cut shirt, and a smile that had to be brighter than the sun.
"Hey stranger." She said as she stepped forward and
gave him a tight hug, completely oblivious to the other people that
surrounded them.
"Hi." Was all Eric could get out,
surprised by the contact. He felt so shy after last night. It had
been a good night. A very good night.
He didn't know where the
sudden attack of shyness came from. Maybe it was the way she kissed
him, maybe it was the way they made love. Maybe, maybe, maybe was all
he could think of.
She pulled away reluctantly as coworkers
exchanged glances. She blushed.
"Well, we know what someone
did last night..." Alexx muttered sarcastically-she couldn't say
she was mad, she was happy for the couple.
Speedle walked up to
Eric and put a hand on his shoulder and grinned. He whispered in his
ear loud enough for everyone to hear, "Nice Delko, give me
details later."
Calleigh was now crimson. "Is it that
obvious?" She squealed.
"Honey." Alexx said,
"Love is like peeing in your pants, everyone can see it, but
only you can feel it."
They laughed.
"Well, I guess
it isn't a secret anymore. Is it babe?"Eric said wrapping an arm
around Calleigh's waist. He kissed her neck.
"No. That's OK,
I would rather have them know than try to hide it any
longer."Calleigh replied."We better tell Horatio."
"And
Ruin it all?" Eric said mock whiny.
"And ruin it
all."
