Random Happenings PT1
Cloud was running, since he had to get to someone to get him some gil- and quick.
Now, Cloud wasn't isn trouble- at least not really- but in his situation…he kinda was.
Cloud ran as fast as he could, since not along while back, a silver-haired man was counting his money. And when said man was counting money…it was clear Cloud wasn't in a good position.
After about an hour of running- he still didn't know why he wasn't in SOLDIER- he leaned over on a rusted pipe. Nibelheim was much different and still Cloud felt disconcerted just walking around Midgar.
A few soft voices came from his left. Cloud turned around and ran to them, making his legs feel like jelly.
Zack and a strange young lady were…
Making out?!
"Zack!" Cloud yelled, though it sounded like he was talking through sand. The moment the two had was broken and neither of the two lovebirds looked happy.
"We were having a moment…and now….its gone…" The girl sighed and started to turn away. Zack stopped her and whispered something, which made the girl perk up a bit.
Now, Zack turned to Cloud and scowled. "What do you want, Cloud?"
Cloud held a finger up ad managed, "I lost all my money, and I was wondering if I could borrow some?"
Zack facepalmed himself. "What did you do this time, Cloud?" Now that Cloud had to explain- which he was hoping he DIDN'T have to do- he explained the two hour torture he had endured.
"Me and Sephiroth played Poker. And I lost. So he took all my month's salary with him."
It became awkward. One being the girl with Zack turned around, face red, and Zack visibly trying to control his anger at the moment.
"Cloud," Zack said between clenched teeth. "WHY THE HELL WOULD YOU PLAY POKER WITH SEPHIROTH?!" The sentence ended in a yell.
Cloud simply said, "I had the day off, and Sephiroth was nice enough to take some time out and play a game. I thought it was perfect time to spend with the GREAT Sephiroth."
By the expression on Zack's face Cloud knew something was up. "Okay, Cloud. First off. Sephiroth was off today and he said he had nothing to do and he said he'd talk to the 'annoying as hell spiky haired blondie'. And second! You are NOT off. You took this month's day off yesterday!"
Cloud shook his head. "Couldn't be. It wasn't-"
The girl perked up. "Yesterday, I saw you and you said, 'I'm gonna find something and then…I'M GONNA BE RICH!' Though I don't know why you would say that when you had bought one piece of brocilli and an eggplant."
Cloud felt awkward. "Ahhhh. Right. Well, I'm gonna get back to work. I don't want to be fired." Cloud turned back and ran in the Direction of ShinRa's main building.
Behind Cloud, The girl giggled.
"He's a keeper, Zack."
Zack sighed. "Aerith…"
