This is my first time writing for this fandom but I love 39 clues.
This takes place after the clue hunt. No Vespers and the Starlings are healed.
Disclaimer: As much as I love this series and even though I do own the dysfunctional computer that I work on I Do Not unfortunately own The 39 Clues or any of the characters.
For the Good of the Family
Madison's POV
That little Ekat is going to get it. He thinks he can blow up the gym and get away with it. That's the fourth thing he's exploded today.
"I swear Starling; you get to the count of three to run before I beat your face in." I yelled cracking my knuckles for an added effect.
"I'm surprised you can even count that high Dolt." He spat back.
"That's it you little nerd. You're dead." I growled, running at him fully intending to give him a full Holt-Style tackle.
Right before I got to him though, I was lifted into the air.
"Hamilton, I swear to god, you had better put me down right this second" I practically screamed, while kicking and punching him to try to get away. Meanwhile Ned ran out of there as fast as he could.
"That depends." He said "Is Ned going to end up bruised if I do?"
"More like broken and that's if he's lucky." I responded
"Then no, I'm not going to put you down." He said smirking. It was scary he almost looked like a Cobra.
"Hey" I smirked back "Just because you're practically in love with his sister doesn't mean you need to protect him, I mean seriously he blew up the gym for crying out loud."
With that I hit the ground with a large thump, while Hamilton paled and then quickly responded.
"I am NOT in love with Sinead."
"Really" I questioned. "You had all of us fooled. You're always saying Sinead this and Sinead that, and you're always staring at her like she's the only person in the room. I'd say that means that you're in love."
"Well you're wrong." He said his face turning red "And besides we're not talking about me right now this is about you and Ned arguing every time you're within 50 feet of each other. You know Fiske is getting tired of it too, he actually just sent me in here to tell you that he has planned some bonding time for you to get you to stop fighting so much."
There was a yell from outside and then Ned came running up to us.
"Bonding time, I am NOT going through anymore of that absurd torture that Fiske calls bonding, and especially not with her."
"For once I agree with the Starling, what does he even have planned?" I said mentally vowing to kill Fiske later for this.
"I don't know." Hamilton shrugged. "He just said to tell you that, you're going to have to go ask him yourself if you want to know."
"Ugh fine." I said scowling. "Come on Ekat; let's go see what torture he has planned for our bonding time."
"Whatever you say Dolt" He said sarcastically
"Don't push you're luck Starling, I'll still beat your face in." I growled
"You seriously still think I'm scared of you." He said rolling his eyes.
"You would be if you were as smart as you claim you are." I yelled
"Well I'll have you know…" He started saying but then got cut of by the start of lecture, compliments of Fiske.
"This is exactly the reason why you two need to spend some quality time with each other. You are driving everyone in this house crazy with you're constant bickering. Your siblings learned to get along and we all agree that it's time that you two did the same. Even Natalie and Dan don't argue as much as you two and you would think that that would be a nearly impossible thing to accomplish."
"So what did you have in mind?" Ned asked
"Well….."

Yeah that's it for now. I hate cliffhangers too, but I'm not sure exactly what I want to do for their bonding time. I don't want to do something completely cliché and over done. If you any ideas feel free to put them in your reviews.
