They looked into a nearby alley and saw a Japaneses man being attacked by multiple humans!
Quickly, they rush to protect him. Garnet grabs one of the men. "Cease this! You have him outnumbered!"
It was to the Gems surprise when the man broke free of Garnets grip...as well as a part of his skin!
Robots! Thinks the Gems as they see the exposed circuitry. "It is the species known as Gems! We must initiate the strategy known as retreat!" Screamed one of the Krangs!
They fled through a dimensional portal-
CRASH!
-but not before one accidentally spills a canister of a mutagen on the man and his pet turtles.
The man screams; The Gems quickly grab the man and his pets and warp him back to their base to recover...

COWABUNGA! Shouts Michelangelo as he and Steven skateboard through town. Splinter smiled; once more he was glad he made the decision the stay in Beach City. The people of this town were so used to weirder things; that they never gave him or his sons a 2nd glance!
He looks up at the portrait of Rose Quartz. You would have been proud of him...
