It was Ciel Phantomhive's 13th birthday and Sebastian had just finished the chocolate triple-layered cake he had been working on. Mey-Rin, Finny, and Bardroy were out in the garden, making it perfect for Ciel. The Earl was working in his study, unaware of today's events. He had completely forgotten that it was his birthday and that his annoying, hyper fiancé, Elizabeth Midford, would be coming for a visit later that evening.
Ciel jumped out of his chair as he heard a soft knocking on the door. He called for Sebastian to come in, quickly sitting down again, embarrassed by how scared he was of such a sound. Sebastian walked in, pushing a cart with tea and a small pice of chocolate cake on top.
"Sebastian," the Earl began, a hint of frustration in his tone, "Why the hell did you bring me cake for lunch?"
Ciel waited for an answer as Sebastian walked, getting ever so close to his master's face which made Ciel blush, but not enough to be visible. When Sebastian was only inches from Ciel's face, he whispered, "Happy Birthday young master." and gave Ciel a soft kiss on the lips, causing Ciel's blush to darken. Sebastian moved away from Ciel, grabbing the food cart. He pushed it out the door, smiling his devilish smile. Ciel sighed in frustration, letting a happy smile escape his dull lips.
