Your eyes are sad, painfully so

I try to smile at you

The poison has me in its grip and won't let me go

But I still try to smile at you

Eyes connect, blue on blue

And I still try to smile at you

They're making you leave and you can't say no

Is this goodbye? I don't know

So I try to smile at you
