This is my first Arrow fic. There's not real time line here, so this could be whenever you want it to be. :o)
I hope you like it.
"You've got to stop." Diggle said as he watched Oliver watch Laurel and Tommy across the club. Oliver turned to him and raised his brows. "Stop what?" he asked, the picture of innocence.
Diggle sighed and glanced at the couple. "Watching her, like she still just a picture on that island with you." He shook his head. "You can't keep holding on to that, it's going to go bad on you every time."
Oliver shook his head. "You don't know what you're talking about, I'm happy for them, that's all." Ollie said before walking away to greet the happy couple.
….
"You've got to stop." Diggle said as he sat beside the pretty IT girl as she pretended to fiddle with her computer but was really watching Oliver train.
Felicity turned to look at him her eyes wide, looking like a kid with their hand in the cookie jar. "Stop what? What are you talking about?" she asked in the way that Diggle knew would led to a long string of babbling if he didn't put a stop to it.
"He's not ready for you." He said as explanation. "He's holding on to a ghost to hard right now, and you're going to get hurt." He said as he leaned close, so that Oliver didn't overhear.
Felicity shook her head and furrowed her brows as she pushed her glasses up her nose. "You don't know what you're talking about, I'm just helping him find Walter." She said. "That's all."
….
"You've got to stop."
"Stop what?" Oliver asked as he reached forward for a fry from the plate across the table from him.
"Hogging all my fries." Felicity said as she pointed at him and scooted her plate away.
Oliver chuckled and sat back, but left one hand covering hers where it lay on the table between them.
"You've got to stop."
Diggle turned to the voice beside him. "Stop what?" he asked Carly.
"Watching them like a disapproving older brother." She said with a smile. "You've been waiting longer than they have for this to happen, so don't put a damper on it now by hovering."
Diggle chuckled and reached a hand to rest on her waist. "You're right, but they can't be so cute all the time." He said.
"They've got to stop."
