It was hurting again. She didn't want it to hurt anymore.
She wanted it to stop. She wanted to be happy again.
No, not happy. That only made it worse.
She wanted to be numb. To feel nothing.
Nothing.
She stood there in the middle of the empty field.
Loneliness, pain, hurt, washing over her once more.
Nothing... sweet, lovely, emptyness.
"Take it away," she screamed to the sky.
"Take it all away," whispering now.
The memories returning, and with them the pain intesifying.
She'd been looking everywhere, with no luck.
She had almost given up when she had finally spotted him.
Naturally she had began to call out her usual greeting, but suddenly she stopped dead in her tracks.
He was with a young woman she didn't recognize.
Neither had noticed her, and for some reason she remained quiet.
He leaned down then, kissing the woman lightly on the lips, smiling.
A strangled cry escaped her lips.
He turned around surprised. Turning away, she ran.
He called, but she only continued running, tears streaming down her face.
Tears streamed down her face, now, mixing in with the rain.
Nothing... She smiled then, and let the memories fade.
Taking her kunai out, she sank slowly to the ground.
Nothing.
She continued smiling, even as she ran the kunai across her wrist.
Her face softened as the blood flowed from the cut.
Nothing.
She didn't feel any pain, from the wound, only numbness.
Everything was fading.
Memories, pain, happiness, emptiness, life.
His arms circled her collasped body, as he whispered to her.
"Why"
She only continued smiling and whispered back, " Because I love you"
His blue eyes faded, as everything else did.
Nothing.
