David Rossi walked out of the interrogation room. He let out a breath as he leaned against the wall for a moment and then another. He had the next victim's name and where her body was buried. It was true what he told Aaron Hotchner who was often called Hotch. He needed to do this for the families of the victims for their closure. When the last victim is uncovered, perhaps then he can and will find his own closure.
Rossi shook off the feeling and made his way to the exit. He had a body to find and a victim's family to inform.
Rossi walked outside and he saw the rest of the Behavioral Analyst Unit. He stood startled for a moment. When he was able to speak, he said, "I thought I told you guys not to come."
Penelope Garcia walked up to him. "Yeah," she said, "but that didn't suit us."
"When have we not come?" Hotch asked.
"Besides we had to do something," Spencer Reid replied.
"Even if it was something small," Derek Morgan put in.
Jennifer Jareau, often called J.J., was holding a cup cake and she went up to Rossi.
Emily Prentiss who had been standing next to her followed holding a candle, and after J.J. asked for the candle, she stuck it in the cup cake. Prentiss then gave her a lighter to light the candle. "We figured this was better than nothing," Prentiss replied.
"Happy Birthday, Rossi," J.J. said after Rossi blew out the candle.
