Chapter 1- small storm
Friday May 31st 2017, NOAA's storm forecasts are updated to a rare Thunderstorm risk of High over Northern Oklahoma and into the state of Kansas.
10:30 Storms fire along a dry line in Southwest Oklahoma.
within 20 minutes the city of Moore is in Tornado watch as the Storms slowly track towards Kansas City.
Time skip of 30 minutes to the past.
10:00 Kansas central city high school.
"Are you hacking the school network again Astro?" Zane asked, a bit annoyed.
"Um...yeah I am" Astro said with a worried tone to his voice.
"Why"
"Because the school blocks Spotify"
"That's it...just for music"
"Yeah I need music in my life don't-"
His reply was cut off by the loud crack of thunder behind them. Followed by some car alarms. It was a small storm that only lasted a few lightning strikes, before dissipating.
"That was quite loud" Astro said laughing a bit.
"Dude that was so awesome"
"Yeah but if it was any closer you might actually regret standing there" Astro said, pointing to the metal flag pole he was leaning on.
"How is leaning on a tall pole during a thunderstorm bad, compared to what you did?"
"Ugh what-" Astro attempted to speak but he was cut off again, this time by Zane.
"You were standing on the roof of a 10 level apartment block that was under construction, While there was lightning" Zane replied, with a -your such an idiot- tone to his voice.
"Oh I forgot about that" Astro said, awkwardly rubbing the back of his neck.
The bell signalling the end of recess went off with the same annoying note being played on repeat for around 10 seconds, before it all went quiet again.
" I guess I will see ya again during maths"
"Yeah, at least you'r in my most boring class of the week" Zane said, with that he left for the double doors leading inside the School. With Astro not to far behind.
