Author Note: Happy Easter Everyone! I hope that you guys all enjoy this new one take storyline. This one take follows my "Find my way back" storyline.
Kurt woke up the following morning knowing that it was Easter. It was an very important day for the family. He was expecting to find out about the newest DNA test later this week that could confirmed that he had a son. He looked over and smiled when he saw his wife sleeping in their bed. He put his hand on her stomach hoping that one day they would expect their second child together. Kurt felt his wife move a little so he gave her a smile.
"Good morning." She said to her husband with a whisper. "Baby awake?"
"Not yet." He responded to her as he reached for the monitor.
"That's good that means that I have alone time with her daddy." She said as she moved closer in for a kiss. They enjoyed a few minutes before their daughter started to cry and Kurt's phone went off. "I will go get her while you gets the phone call. Jane got out of the bed and headed down to their daughter's bedroom.
"Hey, baby girl." She greeted her daughter with a smile. She picked up her daughter out of the bed. She changed her daughter's diaper. "Want to go see daddy?"
She watched her daughter coo a little bit and she took it as a yes. Jane picked up her daughter and headed into the bedroom to find Kurt getting dress.
"I am sorry but Patterson got the test results back this morning. " He revealed to her.
"Okay, Do you want us to go with you?" She asked him.
"Yeah, that's fine. I will get her dress while you get ready." Kurt responded to his wife as he picked up their daughter.
Later that day
Kurt and Jane were on the way to Easter dinner with the team. They had spent the day with Kurt's sister, nephew and "brother". They were trying to figure out what they were going to do now that DNA test was returned.
"So do you feel better now that you know?" Jane asked him with a smile.
"I really do. I just hoped that it doesn't affect our family." Kurt responded to her.
"Honey, why would it? We are going to be fine with it." Jane responded to him before they got out of the car and headed in with their daughter. The dinner was good and they were so thankful to spend it with their family.
Kurt and Jane got home and managed to get their daughter into bed without waking her up. Kurt headed back downstairs where Jane was sitting waiting for her husband.
"I am ready to get this stuff done with him and his brother. I don't want this to affect our family anymore. I needed to talk to my sister about him." He responded to his wife.
