Nightmare on Elm Street.

This is another poem written by my friend, this one is a little longer, and
more detailed.

Freddy Krueger

I lay down to sleep,
I tell myself not to dream of him,
Yet I know I will,
I dreadfully fall asleep,
Not to long after, I feel a draft,
I'm outside,
I hear the young ghost-like children,
Slowly singing the song,
1, 2, Freddy's coming for you,
3, 4, Better lock your door,
5,6.
I cover my ears,
I don't want to hear anymore,
I turn around,
The children disappear,
His hat lays on the ground,
I bend down to pick it up,
As soon as my hand touched it,
A hard wind blew,
And darkness fell over my body,
I was in his house,
His laugh echoed,
I felt as if I was being pulled,
Pulled to the lower chambers of his home,
I walked slowly down the stairs,
I try hard to stop myself,
But I can't,
I finally reach the bottom,
I feel the heat of the room,
Death looms of my body,
I feel his breath on my neck,
I wish I could wake up,
Then I feel the cold long blades inside me,
The blood warmly runs down my back,
I fight to keep the tears back,
He removes the blades from my back,
I turn around,
I look at him,
His flesh scared and burned,
He looks at me,
"It's time to die bitch"
His blades pierced my chest,
He smiled,
Everything started to go black,
I tried hard to wake up before I died,
I fell to the ground,
My body limp and numb,
My blood surrounded my body where it lay,
The last words I hear before I died was,
"Don't worry you'll come back, Bitch.
