I watch you from where I hide. If I said I haven't been watching you for the longest, I'd have to say I lied. Too much of a coward to speak, when I talk to you I can barely manage a squeak.
My face flushed red, I cant bring myself out of this daze. Your energy, your charm, they never cease to amaze. Full of life, full of spirit, full of knowledge, but unknowing that Im watching you. If you were to notice me, we could be two.
Smiles that never lose their luster, laughs like the tinkling of bells, I notice you. You chase hopelessly after others, but they could never appreciate everything about you, like I do. If you were to notice me, you'd see what I say is true.
I'll continue to hide, call it cowardice if you will. I wont speak a word, I'll just wait. Wait for your embrace, wait for your kiss, wait for your love. I'll wait for all of the above. For only you, I'll want. For only you, I'll need. For only you I'll wait to love...
I'll wait for a lot of things. After all, patience is the key. But one thing I cant wait for, is for you to notice me.
