There were no words.

We were all gathered together, every last one of us. We all knew you had left us. We felt it, a slight difference in the air, this feeling of unease. Everything seemed... off, like some of the colour in the world had simply been drained away, leaving only a dull reminder of what it once was.

Weiss, the elegant snow angel, let her grief show on her face, tears falling to the ground. Blake had removed her bow in respect, deciding not to hide the uniqueness you had gifted her with. My sister, never one for mourning, didn't look like she knew what to do, seeming like she had words to say but couldn't figure out how to move her mouth. Ren was the worst of all. He hadn't said a thing for days, and he seemed like only a shell of his former self.

None of us knew you, not personally, but we felt you, in everything around us. You crafted us and the whole world with the utmost care, filling us with every bit of your limitless creativity. You gave us life, and you gave us love, and we WILL carry on your legacy.

So today we raise our swords, spears, fists, and whatever other implements of destruction your crazy mind thought of, not in a solemn salute, but in one last hurrah in your honour.

You never forgot us, and we will never forget you.

Farewell, Monty Oum.

With love, Ruby Rose
