Prologue:
Feet pounded on the floor as I ran, my heart pounding in my ears. "Come back here girl!" shouted one of the guards chasing me around the palace. "Come get me then!" I shouted back to them as i rounded a corner. Checking behind me I quickly mumbled some words in ancient Egyptian. A portal appeared a meter in front of me. I ran forwards spurred on by the guards coming at full speed towards me. I reached the portal not a moment too soon. I sighed into the swirling mass of light that was the portal. I stepped out. I was home.
