As a new year at Hogwarts begins, the trio is added on by a new group of friends. The group makes their way on a journey to gather school supplies when they accidentally slip into Knockturn alley. In Knockturn the young wizards are confronted with dark magic, dark wizards. In their journey to excape they find themselves a new kind of dark magic, a dark magic that is able to teleport them back in time. Unlike the timeturner, these black magic "bubbles" only give you a glimpse of the past, but further back, back as long a you were alive. As the group continues on their journey through hogwarts they find their world slipping deeper and deeper into darkness. Through the introduction of a new character, Will, the group begin to find new additions to the prophecy, they find even more insight on Harry's role in the fight of the Dark Lord, and something else, a white feather. As the year continues a dark shadow falls over Hogwarts as the world around them erupts into mass chaos. The Dark Lord is still becoming stronger and the order of the phoenix is no longer able to stop the deatheaters and there are random killings on the streets, even the safety of Hogwarts is being questioned. As the group uses their black magic more and more, they slip even deeper into the darkness. The group sees their past, the past that was unclear, and even gives insight to the future. but for Harry he even gets a glimpse of what is yet to come. as the year comes to a conclusion, through new dreams and visions, Harry knows what he must do, Through the words of Dumbledore Harry now knows that a final act of love, of sacrifice, is the only way to defeat the Dark Lord and to contain his soul, within something still unknown.
