Two of my friends and I had to write a sonnet in English and we just so happened to write about zombies. The Walking Dead was in our head at the time, so that was our inspiration. Enjoy!
An Original Poetry Presentation
The way your eyes gleam under the moon-light,
Sparkles like diamonds that light up my heart.
Ruby read lips bright against one so bright,
Doesn't dwindle that you're a work of art.
My complexion could not compare to thee,
Since ones fair skin covered in dirt and blood
Steals my sight like a whirlpool in the sea,
And leaves my lungs imprisoned in a flood.
Why do you let me stay so close to you?
Could it be that you and I are soul mates?
By your side is where our love is so true,
King and Queen, we'll never be in check mate.
Dead or un-dead, we will limp hand in hand,
Forever do part with our wedding band.
