First just like the description says Hinata, Sakura, and Sasuke will never be paired with Naruto or any OC's of my creation ever.

Major Characters will die though I won't spoil who.

Zen will have a Bloodline and a Dojutsu though which ones are not decided just yet.

Chapter 1

Zen Uzumaki-Senju was born on a warm April night in Uzu the home of the Uzumaki clan. His mother an Uzumaki woman named Mina who was civilian tailor. His Father on the other hand was Jin Senju one of the most powerful Senju during the Clan Wars and feared among the nation's as the fist of the Senju clan. Jin came to Uzu after the Senju and Uchiha formed the village hidden in the leaves or Konoha for short. Jin decided he was done fighting and thanks to the close ties of the Senju and Uzumaki he was able to retire in Uzu. Mina was a typical looking Uzumaki woman with red hair and violet eyes. Jin was a tall man at 6'4" with White hair multiple scars on his face including one over his left eye that was no longer there.

Zen was born that night with White hair just like his father. What he gained from his mother would be revealed later in his life but for now he was truly his fathers son. When Jin saw his son he was overjoyed when he saw the peaceful look on his wife's face after the birth he related it to a zen look so he decided his sons name to be Zen. Mina agreed to the name and he was now Zen Uzumaki-Senju.

6 years later

Zen is now a genin after graduating the ninja academy though in terms of ability he was easily chunin level. This was only in ninjutsu and genjutsu as his other abilities relate to his physical size and he wasn't developed enough. His mind was on par with a adult Nara and that is saying something. He was no beginner in Taijustu and Kenjustu or even Fuinjustu but those come with growth in body and experience. He couldn't believe he was appointed to learn from the Uzukage himself and become his student.

Mina and Jin couldn't be happier for their son but also sad because he would now have to become a shinobi. Jin and Mina couldn't believe their son was chosen from all the candidates to learn from Shin Uzumaki a man feared for his abilities and was able to stale mate with Tobirama Senju in a spar a feat not easily overlooked.

As Shin looked out his window at the graduating class I'm in particularly Zen he couldn't help but have a smile on his face knowing that today was going to be a day that changed the shinobi world.

The next day Shin summoned Zen to his office he explained to him the as of now he was his student and as such he would have to move out of his house to the shinobi barracks as is custom when all new genin once he completed the basic 5-week course that was required of all new shinobi then he would be transferred to an apartment near the Capitol building so that Shin could personally start overlooking his training.

During the five week training Zen as expected of him was that the top of the class and so distinguished himself that The Jonin Commander actually recommended he be sent straight into a platoon for battle, but Shin rejected this telling him that he would turn Zen into something truly special and when he had him ready for the battlefield the tide of the war could very well change.

As in enter the Capitol building he couldn't help but marvel at its grandeur and wondered if he was ready for the training at the most powerful man in the village was about to bestow upon him and he realized he was not. As he entered the office Shin could tell something was wrong and asked him and that is when he's in revealed he truly did not think he was ready or worthy of a training of the leader of the village but Shin told him something that would stick with Zen for the rest of his life he said then none of us are truly ever ready for our calling however we must embrace it and show ourselves and the world everything that we are capable of for we do not fight for ourselves but for our village and our people so that they may survive and prosper. We may not be ready but we must give everything we have for them and that will truly make us ready for everything that is going to happen. This is the belief of the village our Creed our code that we live by this is our will of the whirlpools.

6 months later

In the six months since the beginning of his training Zen couldn't believe how much he grew he knew he had been already powerful for somebody his age but the training that Shin provided him was incredible his skills have been sharpened and refined you may have not learned anything new but he improved upon everything that he already knew. Shin decided Zen was ready for his first mission outside of the village walls this would be his true test to see if he was truly Worthy is destiny. He was assigned to a team of chunin their mission what's to intercept an enemy spy that had information on their village before he made it back to his camp.

The leader for the mission was Mino Uzumaki a respected shinobi he was a senior Chunin who has been part of the assault corps before he was moved too the regular corps as his leadership had set him apart from his peers. As he saw Zen approaching he couldn't help but notice how on guard and alert he was which he knew was a valuable asset and would serve well for this mission.

As the team left the village to start their mission what they didn't know was the spy had already knew he was compromised and had requested an evac team that was already on their way to him. As Mino took lead of his team he couldn't help but shake this feeling that this mission was going to be a changing point and not only his career but the career of young Zen. Mino addressed his team and inform them that according to their Intel the spy was heading toward their southern port so you could escape back to the land of Earth. So they took off in that direction with him in the front the other two in the middle and Zen in the rear. After about three hours of travel he picked up the trail of the spy and noticed that they were only probably about 30 minutes behind him. So he stopped his team and inform them that they should get ready for battle and switched up the formation so that Zen and one of the other shinobi were in the middlewhile he took the rear and the tracker of the team took the front.

During this time the spy was making his way toward the evac team which consisted of one jonin and one chunin. The spy couldn't help her realize that the man they sent was none other then Roshi a low A rank shinobi who was known as the beating heart of Stone. When he met up with the evac team they asked him for the scroll with the information he had and after giving it to him a prompt we proceeded to kill the spy knowing that he would just slow them down as he was a sensor I could tell that he had been followed.

Just as Roshi had killed the spy the team arrived and could not believe what they saw. It was at this moment that the other shinobi with Roshi proceeded to launch a fire style fireball jutsu at the group they all have to separate in order to avoid it. Roshi used this distraction and cast a very powerful genjutsu that he had created known as the hell viewing technique. After he did this he proceeded to actually kill one of the shinobi before the other ones could snap out of the genjutsu.

Mino now realized that they were at a severe disadvantage and he group back together with the others to tell them that they should more than likely retreat at this point as Roshi was a threat they were not equipped to deal with not even to mention the other shinobi that was with him. However Zen had already decided to take the fight to them and used a water clone and I got behind the other shinobi and before he realized it already put a kunai in the back of his head. Roshi noticed this and proceeded to kill the water clone he was highly impressed that he should know be as young as in had been able to sneak up on his partner and kill him. Mino was also impressed and decided to press their advantage at this point so he fired off a water style water missile jutsu but Roshi was quick to avoid it then he fired off his own earth style Rock spear jutsu and while Zen and Mino we're able to dodge it the other chunin with them was not and got impaled in the leg and was taken out of the fight.

Roshi laughed arrogantly and stated that they had no hope against him and proceeded to tell them that he would enjoy killing them and taking their hearts as souvenirs. Mino and Zen were hiding at this point and were trying to decide how to fight Roshi. Zen came up with an idea that Mino liked so they decided to try it. Zen made 15 water clones and had them spread out while Mino threw shuriken at Roshi then proceeded to attack him from his left side. Roshi was able to avoid the attack and counter-attacked with a jab. Mino was able to see this coming and so he dodged the jab and then proceeded to send a roundhouse kick at Roshi, Roshi was able to block the kick with his left arm and then proceeded to take a kunai with his right arm and swipe it at Mino's left leg and Mino wasn't able to fully dodge it and got a nice cut accoss is leg. Rishi had forgotten about Zen up to this point and was shocked to see 15 of him coming in for an attack and while he was able to kill about 7 the other ones had already gotten him with their kunai and he was heavily bleeding at this point that is when Zen shouted water style water spear jutsu and it landed straight and Roshi's gut. At this point they Mino had thought they won but Zen thanks to his training with Shin was not as convinced that he was proved right when Roshi got up and started waving hand signs for his signature jutsu Earth style stoneheart jutsu this was a jutsu of his own creation and what happened shocked them as Mino suddenly collapsed and was dead Roshi revealed his jutsu allowed him whenever he inflicted damage to insert chakra into an open wound and then a travel to the heart of his opponent and once he activated his jutsu would turn to Stone. Zen was now running out of options as his entire team was dead and Roshi while extremely hurt was still an opponent whom he couldn't underestimate. Steeling his resolve Zen decided he needed to end this battle as quickly as possible because the longer it went on the more likely is inexperience would cost him.

Roshi at this point knew he was going to die as he had underestimated his opponents and he would bleed out soon but wanted to take down all of the enemies he could before he collapsed. So we we've more hand signs and cast the Earth style rock spear forest jutsu it cost a lot of chakra but it created Rock Spears all across the landscape he helped with this last jutsu he could impale or at least cause a scratch on his opponent so he could use his signature jutsu to in the battle however Zen had predicted this and decided that he would get himself out of that situation in used and unorthodox method of avoiding it you took the spy's body and use it as a shield as he avoided the Earth's spears then he cast his own jutsu the water style water missile jutsu and it hit home taking out his opponent. Roshi with his dying breath laughed at how he had been defeated by a mere child. Zen then sealed all the bodies and proceeded to head back to the village.

After 3 hours he made it to the village where he was met by one of the guards who asked him where his team was and when he explained the situation he was immediately taken to the Capitol building to speak with the Uzukage. Shin was saddened to hear that he had lost for great shinobi but the information that they recovered from getting into enemy hands in his mind was well worth their sacrifice for the village he was also proud of his student that he was able to think and keep a level head even when his comrades had perished on the battlefield and it was because of this Shin decided his student was ready for the rank of chunin. Zen told Shin he didn't think he deserve the promotion because well you had succeeded in his mission he had lost all of his comrades and that weighed heavily on Zen.

Shin knowing what his student was going through decided to give him some more words of advice and told him that he would never be able to save all of his comrades but even though he lost them to remember that they died in service of the village and it's people and that was a great honor. It was thanks to their heroic sacrifice that the village was not in danger from what the spy had stolen and they were hero's and would be remembered as such. Zen being a genius for his age understood and prayed for them then took the jacket and said he would be the one to carry on their will. Shin was proud of his student.

6 months later

Zen was now 7 years old and was already an accomplished chunin, after his first mission the ones he received seemed to be a lot easier to him and he completed these ones flawlessly. Also during this time his training had exploded and his skills rose dramatically he was now low jonin in ninjustu, high chunin in genjutsu, mid chunin in tai and ken just, and low chunin in everything else except his ceiling which was now a level 3 Master out of the 15 levels in the Uzumaki clan which at his age was thought to be impossible before he did it. Shin was extremely proud of his student. However, while he wanted to continue Zen's trying he knew he couldn't as last month he had been diagnosed with cancer and from what the doctors told him in the next few months you would be completely bed bound. So he needed to train a successor, and while he wanted it to be Zen he simply wouldn't be even close to ready in that time. Also he realized that Zen needed to learn from the Senju as was his birth right from his father. So he called Jin into his office. And he asked Jin if you had family in the village hidden in the leave. Jin confirm that he did saying his younger sister still lived there. Shin knew it wasn't going to be easy but he asked Jin if he can send out a message to her asking if Zen would be welcomed into her home. When Jin asked why Shin trusting him as an old friend explained his situation and also explain his reasoning that he believed that the Senju brothers would be able to hone his talents more than he ever could and help Zen realize his destiny. When Jin asked what his son's destiny was Shin simply smiled and said to be the greatest shinobi to have ever walk the lands. Jin I was shocked and ask why he had so much confidence in his son. Shin explained but he had never seen someone learn as quickly and be as mature as he is at his age. That just something in his just scream this out to him and he has learned over the course of his life to trust that instinct. Jin seeing the conviction his leaders eyes decided to send the message.

After a few days he received the message back saying that Zen was always welcome in her home. Once he reported this to Shin, he created a scroll for Hashirama and Tobirama explaining his situation and what he saw in his student asking them to do him a favor had to train him. Then he decided to give his student an existing mission to deliver some scrolls to the hidden leaf village. Once he summons Zen he gave his student this mission and told him that failure was not an option. then he explained once he got to fire countries borders he would meet up with Hiruzen and they would travel back to the leaf village together. Zen been departed out on his mission not knowing this would be his last mission for his village and not knowing that this would change the course of history forever.
