After reading Hunger Games and Catching Fire and everything that Katniss had to give up because of Peeta, I always wondered how she couldn't hate him. Like, really, he took the one thing she could always have had: a choice. So I made a few poems (all on the same topic) about how even though she loved him, she would always resent him.

Sorry if the poems are repetitive, but that's what happens when it's all about the same thing… :D Please review :D

I would risk my life for you
Someday I may love you
But just remember,
I will always resent you.

You are the boy with the bread
You are the boy who saved my life

I owe you so much
You ask for so little
But just remember,
I will always resent you

You gave your life for me
Did everything you could

Someday I will love you
And would do anything for you
But just remember,
I will always resent you

You took away my choice
And that was the one thing I held onto

The boy who saved my life,
The boy I owe so much
The boy who loved me
The boy who took the last thing I had

Just remember,
I will always resent you
