Amy woke up little confused but with a wide smile on her face. She was lying in her bed but this time she wasn't alone. Jake was lying next to her...they were spooning to be more exact. Amy was a little spoon. They had sex last night, for the first time. This morning should be awkward but no. They were spooning.. like an old couple. They haven't been on a real date yet so she felt kinda bad for sleeping with him this quickly but on the other hand; it wasn't a random guy . It was Jake- her partner and best friend. He smelled surprisingly amazing, she loved how soft and warm his skin felt under her fingers. Amy was drawing little circles on his palm, it woke him up. Jake took a deep breath and opened his eyes. He smiled and kissed her bare arm.

"Morning." He whispered to her ear. His voice was deeper than usual . Last night this deep voice of his turned her on really quickly. That's how her plan on taking things slow went to hell.

"Morning. "Amy changed her position to be able to look him in the eyes.

"You look worried. "Jake noticed it right away. He did know her.

"Jake.."

"Wait..Flashbacks !. I'm trying to count how many times you said it last night." He joked.

"I'm serious!" she was trying to keep a straight face but she couldn't help but laugh.

"Do you regret?"Amy was surprised by Jake's serious tone. He looked sincerely worried.

"God ,of course not. "She assured him. He looked kinda relieved but still serious. He was playing with her fingers.

"Because.. It wasn't a one night stand thing for me."

"Same here. I'm glad we're on the same page "She gave him a smile and a warm kiss.

Amy didn't feel butterflies in her stomach when she was with Teddy. She felt like a teenager in love.

"Soo Amy , what's on your mind ? "

"Our new captain. He seems strict .. I don't want us to be separated." Amy surprised herself. She didn't care if it's gonna be somehow dangerous for her carrier, she just didn't want to work without Jake.

"It's Saturday, we still have time till Monday. We will figure something out. He can't be more strict than Holt 's. We will keep it a secret for a while. We will figure him out first and then we will decide what to do. Nothing is gonna tear us apart, okay?"

Amy felt like telling him " I love you " which wasn't normal for her. It was waaay to soon. Amy had no idea from where did that come from. Maybe because she had this serious conversation with Jake or she just noticed how differently he's looking at her, no clue. She bit her upper lip :

"It's gonna be difficult to keep my hand away from you, detective.

She pointed at his fingers.

'Those fingers are magical, sir."

They both laughed and got back to make out session .

Yeah , they're gonna be just fine.
