This is just a Kanda's POV with onesided (?) KandaXLinalee.
He had been totally broken from inside.
His shattered heart scattered on the ground and was blown away by a strong wind of despair.
His eyes saw sightlessly. His ears heard deafly.
He continued his life in this way, living as a corpse.
No hopes, no fears, no tears, no joy.
Until the day she came into his way with her affectionate smile as bright and vivid as the sun.
He hated her because she could see through his unfeeling mask into the lonesome emptiness inside.
She didn't try to fill it, nor did she walk away like others.
She just shared her brightness with him, so he could see in the dark within a repulsive wall that ostracized him from the rest of the world.
She greeted him with her shining smile when he could find the way out.
It was that moment he realized she wasn't so strong as everyone else thought.
Clinging to pure love for her family, she fears, cries and sometimes even breaks apart.
She helped him collect his splintered pieces. Now it is his turn to help her, to guard and guide her, to comfort and support her.
He will make sure that she will be fine even if it means his death.
His oath has been made, and will be followed until his last breath turns his life into dusts.
