Ahem… Today! I'll tell you the story of the reborn fool. It is a tale of family. It is a tale of death.
"Zzz…" A peaceful morning for a young Zoroark, who was blissfully napping the day away while his trainer prepared their next journey. "Wick! Wake Up!" A girly voice called out to him… to which he responded by simply turning on his side. "Still asleep I see… Gaius, help him out?" their trainer requested, not to long after, a Greninja jumped down from the trees he was hopping around in. "I got him!" he said cheerily, before blasting a certain, high temperature Scald at my muzzle, in which I nearly drowned in. I coughed up some of the water as the rest dripped of my scorched fur. "T-There's better ways… to w-wake me up y-ya know…" The Greninja and Lucario both laughed as I gasped for air, before the young man kneeled to my side.
"Sorry, didn't have any Chesto Berries, but at least your awake." The trainer smiled as he helped me stand.
"Yeah… and my scarf's all wet…" I whined, my blue scarf was soaked. I treasure that thing… It was a gift to me from my master after all. I merely glance back at my older sister, Wind, as well as my younger brother, Gauis. Neither of them were actually my blood relatives, but that didn't matter. We were more than a team. We were family. "So, Where to?" I asked, unwrapping the blue cloth from my neck to wring it out. "Mountains." They all replied in unison, the two other siblings giving each other awkward stares as the teen stood up. "I hear that there's an odd group of steel types causing quite a bit of… trouble for passerby trainers. Should we take care of it, we could feed ourselves for an entire year." Everyone lit up after that. We've been able to get by, sure, but this would mean no more hungry nights for anyone. "Now you tell us?!" Wind shouted, slightly angry, but mostly excited. She had rarely gone without food, mostly because of either Gaius or myself giving her our shares when it was her turn to starve, but she hated having her younger brothers look after her, she felt like it should have been the other way around. Heh, she was always like that. Gaius grinned, the idea of a fight, no matter how challenging, was amazing. He threw the Life Orb into the air, and back into his webbed hands, as if he was showing off, as he looked up to our trainer. "Sounds fun!" Me, on the other hand… I was slightly worried. I still smiled, since I knew I wasn't talking anyone out of this job, but I couldn't help but worry. Steel types were tough, and didn't help that I was the weakest in a direct battle.
"Well, are we going or not?" My sis asked calmly, adjusting her glasses. My Trainer nodded as he stood. "Everyone's awake, so I don't see why not." And after that, I couldn't help but shout profanities in my head. Why didn't I speak up! Sigh… I'm getting ahead of myself.
