Hello people. This is the first chapter of my new story, obviously.
Anyway, this first chapter is an introduction to the story. The rest of the chapters will be notes, letters etc. throughout their years at Hogwarts. I know it sounds ridiculous. Bare with me. The next chapter will be the start of the letters and notes.

Introduction

At Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry there were four boys. They were all very different, and all drawn to each other.

Remus Lupin was a sandy haired boy. He lived with his mother, who was also magical. They were poor, but generally happy. He liked to read, was very quite and didn't really have any friends. He seemed quite normal on the outside, but he had one major secret. He was a Werewolf.

Sirius Black was a pure-blood wizard. He had black hair, and was rather good looking. His family was one of the oldest, and richest, in the wizarding world, and they were muggle haters. He was the oldest son. He had a mother, a father and a younger brother named Regulus. He hated them all. He was not like them. He was different. He was better than them.

Peter Pettigrew was a chubby boy. He liked to eat. He wasn't very clever. He was constantly bullied. He had no friends. He had a mother and a father, both part of the wizarding world, who doted on him. He was really alone.

James Potter had black messy hair, and he wore glasses. He lived with his mother and father, who were extremely wealthy. He was a pure-blood, but his family was not muggle-haters. He had everything that he could ever dream of. He was loved, and cared for. What he really wanted though, was to have real friends.

These four people met each other on September 1st, on Platform 9¾. For some reason they were all drawn to each other before they went to Hogwarts.

During the Sorting Ceremony, all four of them were sorted into Gryffindor.
Remus Lupin became Moony.
Sirius Black became Padfoot.
Peter Pettigrew became Wormtail.
James Potter became Prongs.
They became The Marauders.

This is a story of their letters, notes and various other things starting from their very first time at Hogwarts, through to their very last day. This is their time together before they became the Marauders, and after.

This is their life among each other.
