I found this today on my hard drive so I though I would upload it. For me this is an experimental way of writing a story that I thought of when studying epistolary novels (written in the form of letters) at University. So I thought why not write a story in the form of statements in an X-File.
This is just to tide you over while I finish writing my Valentine's day story!
I might continue/update this in the future. Let me know what you think and if you would like more…

My name is Special Agent Fox William Mulder. I am currently assigned to the X-Files with my partner Special Agent Dana Scully. This is an official statement describing the incident.

This is what I saw. It was night, approximately a quarter to one (12.45am) and the sky was split, it was broken. The darkening clouds hung over the hill, no distance between them and us. Where there was clear sky, the light of the almost full moon shone out over the fields. Then the light came. A bright light; much brighter than that of the moon. With it the light brought yet more cloud. It came towards us and the parts of sky which had been clear were engulfed. It became icy cold, my hair was damp. The only warmth I could feel was Agent Scully's hand in mine. That was when the incident happened.

My name is Special Agent Dana Katherine Scully. I am currently assigned to the X-Files with my partner Special Agent Fox Mulder. This is an official statement describing the incident.

I cannot remember exactly what happened, it's a bit of a blur. We were stood on the hill. It was late, after twelve thirty. The sky was strange. It almost looked broken. I know how strange that sounds but I have no other way to describe it. It was split in two, the clouds on one side and the clear sky on the other. The moonlight was so bright, shining down on us as we stood in the field. The light got bright, ever so bright. It moved towards us getting brighter, yet somehow bringing more cloud with it. I don't know how to explain it. I remember feeling cold, but Agent Mulder's hand was warm in mine. That was when the incident occurred.
