Rachel is a star. She knows this.

One day, Rachel will be out of Lima, taking over Broadway in a heartbeat.

There is no questioning that.

She shines, when she sings. Her light taking over the stage, blinding.

Like the stars in the universe, she will live a thousand years.

She will go through changes, but she will maintain her light.

Quinn knows that she's blinded by her, but there is really nothing she can do.

Quinn is the Sun. Bright, illuminating everything that she touches when she walks by.

She's the center of the Universe. This universe, at least.

She's warm, you can tell that as soon as you see her, as soon as she appears.

But she burns, too, if you get too close.

There are lots of people at McKinley, but she's the greatest, the most important.

Rachel knows she will always be overshadowed by her, blinded by her beauty.

She knows this, but there is really nothing that she can do.

The stars and the Sun coexist in the same space, but they do not touch.

They're far apart. There are a lot of differences between them.

And you cannot see the stars during the day.

And you cannot see the Sun during the night.

They don't belong together.

But they don't realize, the Sun is a star. They go through the same changes, until they eventually die.

They're not that different, really. The Sun is a star, so basically, they are the same.

It's impossible for stars to go back into previous states, in matters of the universe.

But on Earth, in Lima, stars can diminish their brightness.

And that's what happens to Quinn Fabray, the Sun of McKinley.

Quinn knows she's lost her position as the center as soon as she walks through the hallways and people bump against her.

She was the Sun, but now she's just another star.

Stars are so far apart, it's hard to imagine them crashing. But they do. And the result isn't pretty.

But Quinn Fabray isn't the Sun anymore, and at least in Glee Club, she's a star.

Like everyone, like Tina and Mike and Puck and Mercedes.

Like Rachel.

It's hard to imagine two stars crashing, but they do.

And if they share the same light, they will merge into a single one.

A brighter one.

Rachel Berry has always seen Quinn Fabray's light.

And they both think that, in matters of Fate, it pretty damn time for them to shine together.
