Be prepared!
Authors note: I got this idea in my English lesson the other day when my friend said 'be prepared'. It reminded me of the song off of the lion king and I wondered. What if Opal and the goblins sang this? Well Enjoy!
Opal: (looking in disgust at a goblin who is licking his eyeballs)
I know that your powers of pretension,
Are as thick as a dwarfs backside,
But thick as you are,
Pay attention!
My words are a matter of pride,
It's clear from you dazzled expressions,
The lights are not all on upstairs,
But we're talking world domination!
Even you can't be caught unawares!
(Goblins snigger and Opal grabs her laser gun and waves it in front of them)
Opal:
So prepare for the chance of a lifetime,
Be prepared for sensational news,
A shiny new era is tiptoeing nearer.
(A goblin interrupts Opal who swiftly turns around and grabs him by the face)
Goblin 1:And where do we feature?
Opal:Just listen to teacher.
I know it sounds sorted but you'll be rewarded,
When at last I will give my own rules,
And in justice deliciously squared,
Be prepared!
(Another goblin turns to Opal and looks at her puzzled)
Goblin 2: Be prepared. Yeah, we'll be prepared. Ha, ha… for what?
Opal: For the death of the Commander!
Goblin 2: Why is he sick?
Opal: No fool we're going to kill him! And Foaly too.
Goblin 1:Great idea, who needs people in charge!
Goblin 1 and 2: (laugh and clap merrily) No one in charge. No one in charge. NANANANANA!
Opal: (looks at them frustrated) IDIOTS! There will be someone in charge!
Goblin 2: But you just said…
Opal: I will be in charge! A queen! Stick with me… and you will all be free from Howls peak forever!
Goblin 1: Alright love to the queen!
All of the goblins: Love to the queen!
Love to the queen!
It's great that we'll soon be connected,
For the queen will be all time adored!
Opal:
Of course, quid pro quo, you're expected,
To take certain duties on board,
The future is littered with prizes,
And though I'm the main addressee,
The point that I must emphasize is,
You won't get a lick without me!
So prepare for the coup of the century,
Be prepared for the murkiest scam,
Meticulous planning,
Tenacity spanning,
Decades of denial,
Is simply why I'll,
Be queen undisputed,
Respected, saluted,
And seen for the wonder I am!
Yes, my plans and ambitions are flared,
Be prepared!
