What Makes You Great?
What makes you great? It isn't what you have done in the past nor what you will do in the future. It isn't because you are handsome or funny. It isn't because you have been a good friend for so long. What makes you great is so much more.
You may have done a lot of good things in the past, but none of that matters as you will always continue with the good deeds. So long as you are you, you will continue to do the things that you believe are right. So it is not what you have done in the past nor what you will do in the future that makes you great.
You are incredibly handsome and funny, but those are common qualities in any man. Anybody can be funny and no one has any control of how they look. So it is not because you are handsome or funny that makes you great.
You have been so kind to me in the short time that I have known you. You would never forget me as a friend because you care for me, but so do all of my other friends. That's what friends are supposed to do. So it is not because you have been a good friend for so long that makes you great.
You are so much more than handsome or good or kind or funny. You have off days like everyone else and you have days of greatness like everyone else. You can care just like everyone else and cannot care just like everyone else. You have feelings just like everyone else, but you can hide them just like everyone else. So how are you great? You are great because you are just like everyone else, and yet, you are still able to be you. So that is what makes you great.
