Authors Note: Yay, my second story! It'll probably get annoying, counting all my stories.

Setting: Cemetary/Bridge

Characters: Caspian and Abbey

Summary: Caspian is able to touch for one day. He spends it with Abbey and gives her a present.

One Day

Caspian stood under the bridge. He could see Abbey at Kristen's grave. He pulled his hood up over his head and stepped back into the shadows. He wanted a moment alone before seeing her.

Exactly two years ago, he had died. He'd been an idiot. He'd been worse than an idiot, but he wasn't going there. He shouldn't have done it…he didn't know.

"Caspian?" Abbey asked, walking down. Caspian stepped out and wrapped his arms around her. Today, he could touch her. "What's the occasion?" He shrugged.

"Just a special day is all," he said and smoothed her dark curls. "You look nice today." She raised her eyebrows at him.

"Wow, a hug and a compliment. Wanna tell me what's so special about today, Romeo?" she asked, putting her arms around his neck. "Anything at all?" He shook his head.

"Just in a good mood is all," he said. She nodded slowly.

"Cool," she said. He took her hand and they sat down on a rock just from the water. "So, what have you been up to?" She looked at his blackened hands.

"Sketching is all," he said sheepishly.

"Can I see?" she asked. He looked at her.

"It's a surprise, Astrid," he said. She sighed. "I'm serious! I'd show you, but what if it's a gift?" She looked at him, her eyes lit up. He pulled something out of his pocket and handed it to her. "Here, it's for you."

"Am I allowed to open it?" she asked hopefully. He smiled and stroked her cheek.

"Yes, you're allowed to open it," he said. Her eyes lit up and he watched as she unwrapped the fabric and revealed a diamond necklace and his class ring. He reached out and took the necklace before putting it around her so it rested in the hollow of her neck and she slipped the class ring on.

"Thanks, Caspian, they're wonderful," she whispered, fingering it before looking up at him.

Slowly, he bent down and kissed her lips. It was magical. He hadn't been able to touch or feel her or even kiss her and now he could. He was amazed and threaded his hands in her hair. She loosened up and kissed him back. He drew back slowly and looked at her.

"I love you, Caspian," she whispered. I looked at her. Ding, there was the cliff hanger.

"Sorry, Abbey, but…I gotta go," he said, sighing. She stood and caught his arm.

"No! Don't! I'm sorry, Caspian," she said. He looked at her. She was practically begging. He sighed and pulled her back to him.

"I'll stay," he muttered. She relaxed and they watched the water lap against the shore.

A/N: Ta da! All done. Okay, was it good bad? One shot, will not update it!
