Popping Lily's Cherry
"Scorpius, do you want my cherry?" Scorpius spit his butterbeer all over the common room, his eyes wide turning towards Lily.
"Wh-what?" His mind immediately turned to other thoughts. He was thinking of taking her and her cherry now on the black leather sofa of the Slythrin Common Room.
She looked at him in confusion, her head cocked to the side slightly.
"I said, do you want my cherry... from my chocolate shake?" She added. Across from him his best friend Alexander, or Xander, Halloway was laughing uncontrollably. Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion. "Well, do you?"
"Yeah, Scorp. Do you wan her cherry?" He asked waggling his eyebrows. It took her a second but Lily realized what he ment. The famous Weasley-blush found its way onto her face and she glared at the other Slytherin.
"Xander!" She reprimanded. "That is not what I ment!"
"Yeah, but it's what Scorp was hoping for," he muttered only loud enough for Scorpius to hear.
Lily had made her way to the Slytherin Common Room to comfort her friends after a huge victory by Gryffindor over Slytherin. With Lily playing Seeker against Scorpius himself and Xander,w ho was a Slytherin chaser. All the other Slytherins went to their domrs in silence only hoping to forget the very humiliating game. They had taken butterbeer from the kitchens and of course a chocolate shake for Lily. The house elves always put a cherry on top, even though Lily never cared for them.
So there she sat, with her offending Gryffindor Quidditch sweater still on, holding out a cherry covered in whipped cream to Scorpius.
Merlin, give me strength, he thought to himself.
"Umm..." He said, still not quite sure how to answer the question.
"If you won't take it I will." Xander said, adding a double meaning that only Scorpius understood. Xander sent him a wink. But Scor threw him a sneer.
"She offered it to me, did she not?" He turned to Lily. "Yeah, sure. Thank you."
"No problem." She said rolling her eyes. "Boys," she muttered softly as Scorpius popped the cherry (no pun intended) into his mouth, trying to rid himself of the truly sinful thoughts. "Why am I friends with you two again?" She asked, only somewhat serious with a small smile on her lips.
The boys just grinned.
"Well, I gotta get going. If I'm too late Albus might throw a fit... well, him and everyone else in the family. Plus, I'm missing the Gryffindor party for you dorks."
"Hey! You would party and have fun while we wallow in our misery?" Xander said.
"Well, you guys did lose. By like almost 200 points." She smirked, one that would rival Scorpius' himself. He just rolled his eyes.
"Do you want me to walk you back?"
"Do you want to get jinxed by Roxanne again?" Her smirk grew into a full on grin. Last time he walked her back to the Gryffindor Tower, Roxanne Weasley made sure he returned with boils in a rather... uncomfortable place. She didn't approve of Lily's choice in friends.
"I'd... rather not." She laughed and pecked both boys on the cheek as she skipped towards the exit, her skirt swaying back and forth and Scorpius couldn't help but stare.
Once the door closed behind her, he turned menicingly towards his best friend.
"You'd take her cherry?" He said, glaring at Xander, who gulped.
"Umm... come on, mate. I was just kidding." Scorpius was joking, slightly. He was just going to remind his best mate that if anyone in Hogwarts was going to pop Lily Luna Potter's cherry it was Scorpius Hyperion Malfoy. His only task standign hin his way was convincing her of this... and her thousands of intimidating family members.
A/N: This is kind of a companion to my one shot, "Vanilla," but you don't have to read that to understand this one shot.
