"Stars"
He had always loved the stars. The way they glistened and shone like diamonds. How they gave light to a very dark universe. Bright, lovely, yellow light. Oh yes he loved stars, possibly more than anything else. Curious seeing as his favourite star wasn't a heavenly body. No, his star was so perfect that it made heaven look inferior. His star shone brighter than anything in the whole wide universe. His star was Clara Oswald. Though she would never believe it he looked up to her more than anything. She was so perfectly human, brave, clever, and blimey was she gorgeous. He had to stop himself from staring every time she walked into the room. Well, that was going to be hard as rooms were, for lack of a better word boring when Clara wasn't in them. The first time he had told her that he loved her was right after Trenzalore, back on the TARDIS when she was still unconscious. He had always been a coward when it came to that word. Love, as he had thought, was not meant for him. So boy was he surprised when she opened her eyes and smiled that perfect smile of hers. "About time chin boy." she had said. "I've only waited a thousand years to hear it." That was the first time he kissed her too. It was everything he could've imagined and more, her lips were soft and warm against his, and their bodied moulded perfectly. The kiss was slow and passionate, building in intensity until they both had to break apart, gasping for air. Clara had smiled at his dazed expression and snuggled deeper into his arms.
Yes, he most definitely loved his star. And he was so glad that she loved him too.
