Picking Up the Pieces
You know, I may complain about it, but deep down inside. I love it when she gets her heart broken! Stella/Macy drabble!
-------
Here we go again or shall I say, here I go again, picking up the pieces of a broken heart. Her broken heart. She's going to run out of hearts, if she keeps going in this direction.
Let's see who could have broken Stella's heart this time? Three months ago it was Joe, two months ago it was VanDyke, last month it was Joe, three weeks ago it was VanDyke. Who could it have been to break her fragile, damaged heart? Was it Joe or VanDyke? That girl is like flip-flopping Ping-Pong ball.
She could never really choose between those two, because they equaled up to the perfect man for Stella.
Joe was someone she knew her entire life. He was someone she could trust. Someone to make her laugh, and sometimes (which is very rare) put her in her place, and he was hottie. Yet he was a little immature, conceited, and sometimes a jerk.
VanDyke was someone she could feel secure with, she knew when she was with him, he would never let anything happen to her. He also complimented her, even on her worst days. Yeah, Stella has some insecurity issues, a thing Joe seems to forget when he (sometimes) dogs an outfit of hers. He was a hottie too. Yet he is a little slow, and spoke of himself in the third person, and can be known to be clingy.
Though if you put those two together. You get the perfect guy, for Stella, that is.
This bring me back to my question, who broke Stella's heart this time?
To be honest I really don't care who it was this time. I'm just tired of seeing her in my room, on my bed, in tears, sobbing her eyes out, because one of those two jerks said or did something to break her heart. I wish she would move onto to someone else.
She sat up in my bed and scooted towards me and wiped a few strands of her hair from her face. Her eyes, red and puffy, her mascara smeared just a little. Her nose was red, and her once glossy lips, were not so glossy. She looked a mess, but never looked more beautiful than she did now. I loved vulnerable Stella, this was when she lets her guard down and tells me everything. Like the time, she almost let Joe take her virginity, but she was too afraid it might hurt and she stopped him. I think that has something to do with Joe being a little mad at Stella. He'll get over it.
Her sobs had turned to light sniffles, she took a few deep breaths and wiped her nose. She apologized for ruining my night with her drama, but she had no other place to go, since this time it was Joe who had broken her heart.
Stella could never ruin my night. That's what I am here for. Whenever she needs someone to talk to, or to just listen, and give advice, I will always be there. I love Stella and nothing will ever change that.
We hugged. She smelled so good. Is that Lavender? My favorite scent. We retract from the hug to fold the covers on my bed then crawled under the sheets as we said our goodnights. I got comfortable feeling for a good spot, then I looked over to Stella, who stared at me, those glossy blue eyes.
"Macy will you hold me?" She said through sniffles as her voice cracked.
I know she meant that in the friendliest way possible, but I can take it however I want. I slid closer and wrapped my arm around her torso, she cuddled up and buried her head into my chest.
I caressed her back gently for a while. I could feel her breathing slowing down, and her chest heaving against my stomach. I knew she was sleep. I gave her a soft kissed on her forehead before I laid my head on top of hers.
Mmm, I wish we could stay like this forever.
You know, I may complain about it, but deep down inside. I love it when she gets her heart broken.
