She was all I could have possibly wanted. It was only natural that I began to feel this way.
Black Night… the son of Black Doom… the weakling, not like Shadow the Hedgehog.

Three things that I am. And deep within me it lurks. The darkness. The power.
Giving in to such a thing would have made me stronger… I would have been considered truly worthy, in my father's eyes. I don't see why I do not. Why I refuse to become the Nightmare humans see in me.
Marina's protector. This is what my heart tells me to do. To become. To be.
I guard the one I love with my unending life, using my body as her shield, and my power as her sword. I suppose these mixed intentions are the result of being a half-breed. The anthro blood must be what tells me to become the Knight she sees.
"Black" Marina. Will you ever adopt that title, as all other Black Arms have? Will you truly take the final step to our side?
This is my last worry. My final concern. Because once you do, I know that we will be together forever… something only possible to immortals like us.
She may never look at me the way I see her, but even that is enough. I would be more than happy to simply be allowed to protect her for all of eternity.

This is, as always, a one-shot about one of my RP characters. Black Night, a half-blood son of Black Doom, to be more specific. Yes, that does make this pairing slightly incestuous, as Marina's technically his neice... despite him being younger than her.
Anyway, the RP forum is "The Legacy Continues", which also belongs to DragonClaw92, and she is the one who plays Marina, as well.
As I'll say at the end of all of these - since it's just a way to record my thoughts, I don't really care if you don't review, so you don't have to bother. However, should anyone who likes it take the time to do so, it will be quite appreciated.
