Looking at the Moon
By: Summer-love
She has sat there looking at the moon for hours. She sat there all alone in the garden doing nothing but staring at the moon. Any body that walked by would look at her and sigh, then move on to what they are suppose to be doing.
The blond beauty finally gave out a heavy sigh. Why am I here? The moon, its so familiar and yet, it's also mysterious. Every time I look up in to the moon, I feel a sense of longing growing inside me, it scarce me sometime. What is wrong with me? She sighed again and picked up her dress and walked in to the manor.
The young beauty was not just any body; she is the daughter of Lord Lynne of Fordell, one of the richest and most respect Lord in the whole kingdom. Even though she grows up in a rich family line, she is not the snobby girl you might suspect; Serena Melissa Lynne has grown up to be a gentle and loving girl. Everyone, even those who is jealous of her beauty, adores her.
"Mistress, my lord ask of you to come to the library." A young maid with brown hair said.
"Thank you, Sophie." Replied Serena.

"Father."
A man in his late fifties looked up from one of his huge books. He has black hair and sapphire-blue eyes that held fire in them. He has broad shoulder and a perfectly masculine body. He has an air of power around him.
He smiled, "My daughter come."
The girl hurried to his side and embraced him warmly. He chuckled and kissed her cheeks.
"Rest early today, my daughter, you have to woke up early tomorrow morning, for you're to travel to Cansuc."
"Yes father, and please don't stay up late, it's not good for you health."
"Don't worry your self, my dear, I'm still young. Good night."
"Good night, father."
With that she turn around and walked out of the room, but she wasn't fast enough to miss the sadness that glinted in his eye. Serena's mother had died when she was yet a baby, so Serena never knew her, and no one ever talked about her mother in front of her. The only thing Serena knows about her mother, is that she looked just like her. Maybe that's why her father always has that sadness in his eyes. Serena never questioned her father about it.

"Sophie, how much longer till we get there?" Whined Serena.
"Not much longer, Miss. Serena."
Serena has learned everything anyone can offer; now she is off to court to learn with the kingdom's best magician. She, more or less, has a curios mind. She makes a habit to make sense, or understand something. She is also a fast learner, which helps with the making sense part faster.
"Miss. Serena, we are here." Sophie said, breaking Serena's thought.
