The mysterious call from china
THE TEMPLE
"Miyu, hurry up!" Kanata shouted calling Miyu. "Were gonna be late for school!"
"Give me a minute!" Miyu replied. "I'm coming!"
While they were walking to school, Miyu's phone rang. 'RRRRRIIIINNGG' Miyu answered it "Hello, who is this?" She said
"Is this Miyu? How are you? I hope you're ok." The voice said.
"AAAAAAAHHHHHHH!" Miyu shouted and hanged up.
"Hey Miyu, what's wrong with you? Why did you hang up?" Kanata asked so scared.
"The one who just called me… He knows my name! And he asked how I was and hoped I was ok! He's voice was shaky and stuff!" Miyu shouted out.
"Do you even know him?" Kanata asked.
"No, I don't know him." She replied.
"Then why didn't you check the number before you picked it up!" Kanata demanded.
"Sorry, I'm used to it that the ones that usually call me is Nanami, Aya, mom or dad, so I don't bother looking at the number, but just the same, why didn't I think of that earlier?" Miyu replied.
"See I told you, why don't you think first before you do something!" Kanata told her.
IN SCHOOL
"What should I do? What should I do?" Miyu mumbled to herself feeling so scared.
"Miyu? What's wrong with you?" Nanami asked the girl with blond hair.
"Huh? Oh, hi Nanami, it's nothing really." Miyu replied.
"Oh come on, tell me what's wrong." Nanami asked her one more time.
"Are you sure you won't tell anyone else?" Miyu asked Nanami.
"Yes, I promise not to tell anyone else." Nanami replied.
"Ok, it's because this morning while me and Kanata were going to school, my phone rang, so I answered it. When I asked who it was, he had a shaky voice and asked how I was and hoped I was ok, and I hanged up." Miyu explained.
"You picked up your phone with out even checking the number!" Nanami demanded.
'Sheesh, first Kanata, next Nanami, who's next?' Miyu thought. "It's because that I am used to it that you, Aya, my mom or dad are the ones calling me so I don't mind looking at the number." She explained.
"Yeah, why didn't you check the number before you answered it?" Aya suddenly butted in. "By the way, nice story Miyu." Aya said with a big smile.
"AAAHHH! You scared us Aya! Don't scare people like that." Miyu and Nanami shouted out to Aya.
'RRRRRRIIIIINNGG' Miyu's phone rang. "Hello, who is it?" Miyu answered with Aya and Nanami's ears near Miyu's phone.
"Hi, Miyu, it's me mom, a while back, the one who called you was your father, he bought a new cell phone and has a new number so he called you and just wanted to say that he had a new number but you hanged up." Miyu's mother explained.
"Oh, that's a relief. I thought it was someone else that was after me or something." Miyu answered with relief.
"Oh Miyu, you're scaring yourself again." Her mom replied with a big laugh. "Well, I need to go now, bye Miyu."
"Bye mom." Miyu replied.
After school
"So Miyu, have you found out who called you this morning?" Kanata asked the blond hair girl.
"Yup, it was just dad that wanted to tell me that he had a new cell phone and had a new number, but I hanged up." Miyu explained Kanata what her mother told her.
"Well that's a good relief." Kanata told her.
"Yeah, it was a great relief." Miyu said. 'So I guess if dad got a new cell phone, which means they earned more money, and that's good news!' Miyu told herself.
