It was just there, tantalizing others with its leafy goodness. Mewtwo examined the sprig of parsley and felt each iridescent green fiber rub its quickly fleeting nutrients into its fingers. It gripped it tightly and thought wild thoughts to itself.
I am the parsley. The parsley is me… it mused is a nervous manner. Why did it feel this way. It was just a bit of herbal essence. Sooner or later it would find its way down own of its two necks.
I don't want it to be gone forever, though… Moments like this should be captured forever. The fearsome genetic Pokemon slowly rose and set the sprig down on one of the large stones adorning its cavern island.
Mewtwo paced a ways off and collected its thoughts once again. If I eat it, it shall become a part of me. We will then both lose our individuality. It pains me to say so.
Mewtwo crossed its arms and faced the sprig. It was still on the stone, it wavered slightly as some of the cool air carried from the water currents tickled it from underneath. Mewtwo glared at it and scoffed at its own incompetency. Food is for the weak anyway. My nourishment is derived from the psychic energy I collect from the environment. It's all I need to survive. Partaking in meaningless pleasure is a luxury for the weak. I am not weak…
Mewtwo flicked its tail abruptedly and slammed the ground. The shockwave shot a ringed dust cloud from where it stood. The jolt was enough to blow the sprig away. It landed in the water and was quickly gulped up by a Magikarp. Hah! The weakest of them all devours the useless matter. Mewtwo hovered back over to the center of its isle and tucked itself into a ball. It lit up blue from the psychic powers disemboguing from its core. It shut its eyes and focused on its power.
But the sprig of parsley still haunted its dreams.
