The End of a Revolution
Part I
October 14th, 1781, Connor's Homestead.
Connor Kenway sat in his personal quarters in his home. He sat with a look of inspiration on his face, a spherical object on the desk in front of him, his hands tinkering on a material laying in front of the sphere. His robes hung on the door of his office, his Hidden Blade dismantled to his right, his bow hung up, his tomahawk hanging from his side. Connor continued working on his gadget, blowing the freshly cleaned black hair from his face. He had a small smile on his face, at which time he set down his tools and picked up the mysterious gadget.
The material glowed like the Apple of Eden, which started glowing on the table as his project touched his flesh. And when his mind told it to, his new Hidden Blade extended from it's shelter, sharper than any blade like it. He retracted the blade and set it on a table on the other side of the room, telekinetically extending and retracting the blade again without touching it. Grinning, he slid it on his arm, flexing his muscle, the way to normally extend the blade, and nothing happened. It would only work with his mind. After he was content, he went to clean up the mess. Then - a knock on the door. "Connor?" Called an older voice of a man. "Are you in there?" "Well, Washington, I hear that you feel that the end of the war is upon us...err, you." They turned, walking toward the door. "Well, that's why I'm here, Connor I want you to join us in our last stand. I have a special assignment for you. If you're up for it." Washington thrusted open the door. Hundreds of Patriot soldiers and wagons ran up and down the road. Connor stared from one side to the other, watching the soldiers. "Alright, General. You've got a deal."
"Just a moment, General Washington!" Yelled Connor. He threw on his robe, keeping the hood lowered, slinging the bow over his shoulder along with the arrows, scrambling to stuff his disassembled hidden blade in his pouch, and grabbed the Apple of Eden, hiding it in a locked chest under his desk. Then he made for the door, pulling it open, and shaking the hand of a skeptical George Washington. He held his Patriotic general hat, his cloak dirty and tattered. They turned to walk down the stairs to the front door. "So, how have you been, Connor? It's been some time." Washington walked down the steps of Connor's homestead, his arms folded behind him after putting his hat on.
