Depression is serious
And at first you feel like
You have too many bad days
But the days get worse as time goes by
You start feeling down all the time
You don't feel like doing things you use to
You get these feelings of
Putting yourself down
And start to get very blue
You start thinking of
What would happen if you were dead?
Depression
Takes over you like a drug
Boxes you till you're out cold
And you feel like you like
Being depressed and
You don't want to get help
You want to stay this way
And you feel tired all the time
You avoid your homework
And don't listen to your teachers
In gym you sit there not wanting to join in
Like you use too
Everything starts to piss you off
And your about to explode
Crying for no reason sometimes
Being scared of your future
You feel like you have no future
You eat more or less
Or sleep during the day
And at night you fall asleep late
And in the morning you may wake up early
People close to you see some of these changes
And they feel like its nothing
But depression is taking over
Your life and how you live
Anyone depressed didn't make themselves
This way it just happened
We don't know what trigged
This depression to live inside of us
It's not in our heads its real
The longer you have it the more it gets worse
And when it gets worse you wouldn't believe
What people with depression do to themselves
Everyday they feel this way
