Caitlin's POV
I was training in the arena when she walked in. Her black hair was messy and matted with blood, her red eyes looked at me like she was about to kill me, her lips were chapped and cracked; she had bruises all over her face and arms. When I saw her I felt like I had seen her before. She looked scared and confused. I dropped my stygian ice sword and walked to her. She backed away from me when I was about 5 feet away. "It's okay, I'm Caitlin Lopez. This is a safe place" I reassured her. Her eyes slightly lit up when I said "safe place". I smiled slightly and asked "what's your name?"
"M-My name is Kayley, w-why am I here?" She looked around like she was looking for someone.
"I'm guessing your mother or father is a goddess or god."
"What are those?"
"I'll tell you later, let's get you to the big house." I grabbed her slightly bleeding hand and led her to the big house. I wondered "Where have I seen her before?" as I walked to the big house, only to find Chiron on the floor of the porch bleeding profusely.
