So suddenly he's alive again and jokingly says he has a thing for brunettes, because he knows Rapunzel is going to be sad about her hair, but boy, was he wrong. It looked like she could care less about her hair right now. Rapunzel crashes into him with a bear hug. He hugs her back, slightly shocked either because he's feeling as if the blade never cut through him or because their bodies are so close together. Probably the latter. They'd never been this close before. He contentedly buries his face into the junction between her neck and shoulder. She pulls out of the hug, giggles, and plants a kiss right on Eugene's lips.
He raises his eyebrows, pleasantly surprised. Closing his eyes, he instinctively moves his hand to tangle in her short brown hair and leans forward to deepen the kiss, and Rapunzel is happy to oblige. They stay like this for a moment. His mouth starts moving slowly and smoothly against hers, and his hand trails down from her the base of her neck to settle at the small of her back. A strange fluttering sensation builds in Rapunzel's abdomen, and her pulse quickens, and boy does it feel extremely strange, but somehow very pleasurable. Unbeknownst to her, Eugene feels the sensation settle in the pit of his stomach as well, but he knows how to label it. Desire.
He pulls her tighter, his kisses growing more frantic and hungry and a small, muffled hum of pleasure escapes Rapunzel's lips, and that excites Eugene so much that he flips them around, and now he's the one on top, and man this feels good, and he's wanted to kiss her since that night at the campfire-
Rapunzel pulls back, her face flushed and looking rather confused. Eugene feels disappointed until the thought dawns on him that this is definitely her first kiss, and he had gone entirely overboard. He clears his throat, ahem, and they both nervously laugh as Rapunzel sits up and hugs him again, and he kisses her cheek as he wraps his arms around her. They stay in this position for who knows how long, and all they can think of is
Thank God you're safe
and
I could get used to this.
A/N: Thanks so much for reading! I kept wondering what happened in the tower after they cut to the next scene. How long did they stay in there? What was the kiss like, how long did it last, blah blah blah. So this is the result of my imagination. For someone who's never kissed before (I'm a failure at life XD) this was a little strange to write in such detail. X)
