Esme and Carlisle are viewing over Edward and Bella.
Esme and Carlisle were watching Edward spin Bella on the wooden floor in the living room.
"Esme, don't you think they are perfect?" Carlisle asked
"Very much, dear. I don't think Edward would live his life without her. When she dies he'll go with her no matter what we say they'll be inseparable forever." Esme thought suddenly.
They watched while Edward caught Bella when her clumsiness made her stumble over her own feet. She blushed a deep scarlet and scowled. Edward laughed real hard seeing her face. She almost stalked off in a direction away from the laughing vampire. Edward hooked his arm around her waist and pulled her towards him. He grinned and turned her around so she was facing him. His smile widened and he kissed her passionately. A smile was forming on her own face. She circled her arms around his neck and he tightened his grip on her waist.
"When do you think they'll come up for air?" Esme asked watching the two soul mates still kiss.
"Ha! Remember Edward doesn't need air!" chuckled Carlisle. Esme laughed quietly with them still watching the pair.
Finally they parted Bella looking dazed and Edward realizing he almost made Bella suffocate. He smiled at her look when she regained a piece of her mind. Edward then picked her up and spun her. She laughed with delight and was put down after she said she started feeling dizzy. Esme and Carlisle thought that Edward and Bella loved each other more than anyone they met. For a second they both forgot that Edward could read minds. He looked over at them and they smiled at him and Bella. He just nodded and went back to focusing all his attention on the love of his life. Edward bent down and whispered in Bella's ear the three words that had the power to melt hate and fix a broken heart.
"I love you." and he stared into her eyes forever it seemed.
"I love you too Edward. Promise me never to leave me."
"I promise Bella." His velvety voice sighed.
Esme and Carlisle watched this exchange of words between the human and the vampire.
Esme sighed and Carlisle turned to look at her beautiful face.
"What is it dear?" He asked her concern intertwined in his voice.
"Nothing I was just thinking." Carlisle went and pulled his wife onto his lap and they sat down on the sofa where they still could see the young lovers trying to dance.
"What were you thinking about?" Carlisle pressed on watching Edward with Bella now.
Esme sighed again.
"They are perfect for each other. Edward is a vampire and Bella a human . . . .
"But god Carlisle, I swear that girl looks like a vampire." Carlisle looked at his wife who stared at Bella and she then turned to look at her husband. She started running her hand through his hair making him sigh and relax.
Yes indeed, Edward thought, Bella looks just like a vampire.
