Author Note: Another Green Wing Oneshot, this one is about Joanna & Alan.
'I don't need him', she tells herself as she steadily sucks smoke from her cigarette. 'He doesn't mean a thing to me'… Fuck I need a drink!'
Feeling pissed off, she stalked towards a bar, now on her tenth cigarette. Coldly she orders drink after drink, slipping between high pitch and giggly, and feeling unhappy and murderous. Hours later her mind starts to cloud over and she slowly faints.
NEXT DAY
'Fuck my head hurts', she thought to herself. Glaring she looked around, sighing angry she realises where she is. Giving the sleeping man in the bed next to her an especially angry glare, she flopped back into the mattress, wishing bitterly she didn't end up with Alan every time she drunk sometime.
In her mind, she reassured herself again that she didn't in any way depend on Alan & she could stop anytime she wanted. This was proven by her leaving him in bed and ransacking his kitchen for something actually eatable before leaving the house.
She didn't need him at all, he was just convenient. Piss off and sporting a hangover, Joanna slowly drove to work, not at all caring when Alan didn't show up.
