I've watched humans for so long, but this particular human is interesting. She is as predictable as her husband, but in different ways. He is angry at the world and fights for a better future, but she...she fights for him. He is using her, making her his toy and planning to throw her away when he's done. No, knowing Light, he'll kill her. Even better, he may get her to kill herself using the Death Note. Whatever happens, it will amuse Light, or Kira, or whoever he is now.
Still, she is an immutable force, following his every word with devotion and admiration. I have always thought humans would turn against even their own families. However, this woman treats him as though he truly is the God he pretends to be. Now I just wait, watching all of them, Light, the detective L, and her. I can't wait until they all kill each other and I get my Death Note back.
"Ryuk-chan?"
I turn to look at her, Misa Amane. She smiles happily, despite my inhuman looks. She motions for me to follow her, chattering all the while about her "Light-chan." I sigh and laugh to myself at the way Light looks at her, like a predator watching its prey. He leeches off her eyes like a parasite.
Misa smiles greatly, grabbing his arm and hugging him, telling him how much she loves him.
If only she knew.
