A very short,cute Christmas oneshot. No fluff,sadly.

-- I wrote this story last December, and I only posted it now. Bad timing, I know. Inspired by the insanely cute Christmas omake released by KT.

Christmas Photos

"It looks good on you." Rukia said wickedly," Shall I take a picture?"

"Shut up." I mutter. The tiny, violet-eyed shinigami was seriously annoying me. After all, she was the one who practically forced me into the stupid Santa Claus outfit that everyone was going around wearing.

A sneaky smile spread across her lips. "I thought you didn't care what people thought about you."

She caught me. The truth was, I did care. Sometimes, at least. Especially now that I was in a Santa Claus costume. I had sworn never to wear such revolting outfits, and yet, here I was, standing in one. Man, Rukia really is a bitch.

"I don't." I said nonchalantly. I was lying,of course. After all,I couldn't let my reputation be damaged.

"Then you'll let me take a picture."

I scoffed. Thank god Rukia didn't know a thing about modern technology."You don't even know how."

She held out the camera. "Karin taught me. Smile!"

A bright flash filled the room, temporarily blinding me. Because of that, I fell and landed on top of my bed. I blinked a few times, trying to get that white flash out from my line of vision. After my vision returned back to normal, I saw Rukia sitting smugly on top of me.

I tried not to blush. What was that shorty doing on top of me? As much as I hated it, I knew that I was beginning to like the annoying midget in a more-than-just-nakama way. She just grew on people. she grew on me. I found every habit of hers weirdly beautiful, even her habit of reading horror manga and her habit of punching me everytime I looked 'stupid'.

Rukia bent down, until our faces were just inches apart. My heart jumped, and was now beating as fast as hell. I was also pretty sure I was red by now. Then, she suddenly shoved the camera into my face, leapt off me and ran out the doorway.

Grabbing the camera, I tried to look at the picture that was still flashed upon it. It was a picture of her and me, in our Santa Claus suits. It seems that she sneaked right in the picture during that bright flash. I grinned. We looked hella stupid, and yet, It was the best photo I'd ever seen in my life.

And why?

She was there.
